I've washed this linen cover three times now and it somehow gets softer each time, no pilling at all. The stripes are woven in, not printed, so I don't worry about them fading. It does wrinkle, but that's just what real linen does.
The stripes are subtle enough that they don't clash with my patterned throw pillows, which I was worried about. It's breathable but still cozy, and the linen has that slightly rumpled look right out of the dryer that I actually like.
Three washes in and this linen duvet cover finally hit that soft, lived-in feel I was hoping for. The stripes are woven in, not printed, so they won't fade or peel like my old set did. It breathes so well that I've stopped kicking the blanket off at 3am.
