Soak first and wash separately at 60 degrees to shrink the fabric. Then wash separately at 40 degrees

I pre-washed it before sewing curtains and lost almost exactly the 6-8% shrinkage they warn about, so no surprises when they came out of the dryer. The amber bronze tones are warmer than the photos suggest, and the 190 g weight hangs beautifully without a lining.
