Soak first and wash separately at 60 degrees to shrink the fabric. Then wash separately at 40 degrees

Washed it before cutting and it shrank right around the 7% mark, so the 6-8% estimate is spot on. The red gingham is crisp and even, and at 190 gsm it holds a nice weight for curtains without feeling stiff. Already ordered more for napkins.
